Meetings
Meetings are held on the first and third Thursdays of each month between September and June. Meetings take place at the Carver Public Library (directions) located on Route 58 in Carver center.
Meetings begin at 9:30 A.M. with coffee. The program for the meeting starts at 10:00 A.M. and ends around noon time. When workshops are planed in connection with our morning speaker they are usually scheduled in the afternoon of the same day.
Meeting Activities
Speakers
Speakers demonstrate their own techniques, show their remarkable quilts, or speak on one of many other quilt related topics. Most of our speakers are nationally known speakers or authors.
Workshops
Our workshops are taught by the day's speaker or one of our many talented members. Learn a new skill or improve an existing one.
Bus Trips
On occasion we take a bus trip to a quilt show, museum, quilt factory, or other special event.
Group Projects
Through teamwork we make quilts to benefit various charities and needy groups such as Battered Women Shelters, Homeless Shelters, and disaster victims.
Quilt Show
Our quilt show features display quilts, workshops, auctions, and raffles.
