NOVEMBER 2010 CALENDAR
November 4 - Business Meeting, Block of the Month, Surprise Raffle, Birthday Fat Quarters, Sew 'n' Tell November 5 - Bus Trip - A Quilter's Gathering - Nashua,
NH - Please note this is a Friday bus trip. Meet at the Fireside Grille at 7:46am and
leave at 8:00am. Bus will depart from Nashua at 3:00pm. The cost is $20 for members and
$25 for non members, both prices include
admission to the show.
November 11 - Veteran's Day - The library is closed - No Meeting. November 18 - We will be having a 3 hour workshop with Pat Delaney, called "Hue Can Do It!". This is a fun non-sewing call workshop with
color. We will play with color. We will use fabric scraps, glue
and templates to arrive at wonder color combinations for your quilt
blocks. Working with Joen Wolfrum's excellent color wheel, we will explore the many types of color plans
and you will be inspired
to be adventuresome and daring with color in your next quilts. There is no fee
for the workshop, but Joen Wolfrum's color wheel
is a must. It is $17 and we need a count so Pat knows how many to bring, so
sign up ASAP. . Supplies needed: Fabric, Fabric, Fabric!, Glue stick, Scissors, Paper, Pencil, Small cutting
mat, Ruler, Rotary cutter. Don't
forget your Bags of Inspiration. Bag
