It's time to begin the next raffle quilt!  this time we would like to have every member involved, so please read our news and see what activities you  would like to take part it.  First, we'll begin by collecting many different dark and light fabrics.  Everyone, please bring new, 100% cotton fabric to our first meeting, at least 2" wide and at least 18" long.  the success of the quilt depends on the contrast between darks and lights.  Color and scale of prints doesn't matter, as these fabrics are all going to be cur into 2" wide strips.  This is a good chance to get rid of your unwanted extra strips, or left-over fabric from some of your other projects.  At an upcoming Betweens meeting, volunteers will cut all of you donations into 2" wide strips of various lengths to put into kits for each block.
